Ken is an acitve member of the Financial Services Institute and was nominated and elected to the Biltmore's Who's Who of American Business Entrepreneurs in 2008.

Ken was born in Miami, but was a native of Virginia and attended Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA from 1975-1976, 1978-80.  Ken is a voracious reader who enjoys spy novels and literature, particularly Ernest Hemingway, Frank McCourt and James Michener.

Ken is a sports enthusiast, particularly his beloved Red Sox and L.S.U. Tigers.  He is a member of the National Baseball Hall of Fame, as well as Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association (T.O.B.A.) where he actively races thoroughbreds.

Ken has been a resident of Acadiana since 1982 and is the proud parent of Matthew and Marlee Miller.
