As a Financial Planner since 1988, Joan has helped her clients through very robust economic periods and very difficult times too.  She has been a resident of Atlanta since 1985 and lives in the Sandy Springs and Dunwoody area.  Joan is a dedicated single mother spending her free time with her daughter Zoe.  Their favorite activities include going to the zoo and the botanical gardens on weekends.

Joan has been involved in the community by serving on the Atlanta Food Bank Board of Directors for many years.  She has a Certified Toastmaster designation, having been a member for multiple years.  Since then, Joan has given numerous presentations to large groups on a variety of financial topics.

Since graduating from Indiana University in 1980 with distinction and a Bachelor of Science degree, Joan has taught elementary school for several years.  She uses her teaching skills every day as she communicates with clients.  Her goal is to make the process of planning for retirement and the distribution of retirement income easy to understand.

Joan strives to provide her clients with an outline of their financial needs and a clear process designed to help them reach their goals.
