Barbara L. Bechely, is a Registered Representative with Securities America, Inc., a registered broker/dealer in Atlanta, Georgia and is a Financial Planner with Securities America Advisors, Inc. She provides comprehensive financial planning services through Securities America Advisors, Inc. (SAA).

Barbara earned her Chartered Financial Consultant  (ChFC) designation through themAmerican College, Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, and Certified Fund Specialist (CFS) maccreditation through the Institute of Business and Finance, La Jolla, California, and she is a member of the Financial Planning Association  (FPA).

Barbara earned her MBA in Finance with Honors from Kennesaw State University, Kennesaw, Georgia, and received her Bachelor of Science in Finance and Administration from Northern IllinoisUniversity, DeKalb, Illinois.

Prior to moving to Atlanta, Ms. Bechely was a registered commodity representative with Heinold Commodities, Inc., in Chicago, where she successfully managed over 200 clients with speculative and hedge commodity trading accounts.  Each client account was tailored and traded to their risk preference.

As a knowledgeable professional and trusted advisor with over 25 years in the financial services industry, Barbara has the broad-based experience necessary to work with all aspects of her client’s financial needs, from risk-management, investments and taxes to career changes and pre-/and post-retirement planning.

Barbara is married, has a son who is a graduate of The University of Georgia and lives in the Atlanta metropolitan area.
