Prior to becoming a financial planner, Leroy held various management positions and retired as a vice president of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. He is a Wake Forest University graduate, and a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He has served and held leadership positions on many area boards. He is a past president of the United Way, Mental Health Association, Rotary Club, and Step One. Leroy is a trustee and deacon of First Baptist Church in Walnut Cove.
