In contrast to today’s increasingly impersonal society, Paul has built his practice upon the mantra of close personal contact and intense personal service. Paul explains, “How can I meet a family’s needs over time if I don’t really know them? And how can I know them if we only speak two or three times a year?”

Paul has come to this conviction after being in the financial services industry since 1992, when he began as an advisor with a national financial planning firm. In 1995 he changed gears, continuing his career with the brokerage firm, Charles Schwab. ”One thing I loved about Schwab in my early years there was the philosophy of always putting the client’s interest first. That really made an impression on me and is something that I made sure would be a hallmark of my practice.”

While at Schwab, Paul served in a variety of capacities, including Regional Financial Planning consultant and Regional Market Manager for Risk Management products. “Each one of those experiences was vital in my learning process, but it got to the point where I wanted to build close relationships and serve clients on a more personal level.”

Paul eventually started his own practice, drawing on the loyalty of relationships and clients he had built over the years, and joined the consortium in 2005. “Once I went through the vetting processing and acquired an invitation, joining the Consortium was a no-brainer. My clients benefit from what my experiences bring to the table, but also from the enormous intellectual capital available to them through my affiliation with the Consortium.”

Paul’s practice helps client in all facets of their financial life: banking and credit, risk management, goal planning, asset accumulation and preservation, estate planning, distribution planning, and philanthropy. “In reality, most people engage my practice because of investment concerns. What they find, however, is that the value we can provide extends far beyond decisions about how to invest assets.”

Paul is a graduate of the University of the Georgia. He makes his home in the Lilburn-Stone Mountain area with his wife, Michele, and children, Tucker and Samantha.
